The FDIC OIG is a great place to work. Our workforce totals about 140 employees, and includes auditors, evaluators, accountants, investigators, attorneys, information technology specialists, program and management analysts, human resource experts, and administrative support staff. Most of these OIG positions are located in the OIG’s headquarters office in Virginia Square; however, the OIG’s criminal investigators are located in the following regional offices: New York, Atlanta, Dallas, Kansas City, Chicago, and San Francisco. (Several audit and evaluation staff are also located in the Dallas region.)
